Our practice runs on cloud booking software. Do we still need managed IT?
Cloud software moves the server away, but the computers, sign-ins, Wi-Fi, printers and email security are still yours to look after. Managed IT keeps those secure and working and gives staff someone to call on when something breaks.
Contractors use their own laptops in our office. Is that safe?
It can be, with the right controls. We keep contractor devices on a separate network, require multi-factor sign-in for business apps and limit what can be downloaded to personal devices, so your data stays under your control.
How much does managed IT cost?
Our plans are $69, $119 and $169 per user per month plus GST. A user is one person; their computer and phone are included. We recommend the $119 Managed plan for most offices. The full breakdown is on the pricing page.
How quickly do you respond?
Requests are picked up during business hours in the order of urgency. Anything stopping work, such as no internet or a locked-out account, goes to the front of the queue.
What is not included?
Hardware, software licences and projects such as an office move, new server or full cabling job. Those are quoted in writing first, with no surprise invoices.
